My updated fishing blog!

I have finally updated my fishing blog after a long time of period.
I went fishing often, however, we had a lot of rains and I was unable to take photos and was not able to update my blog. But in May, there were some sunny days and I was very exited and was able to enjoy my fishing and ended up with a good result!!

I had participated to competitions after Feb and my best result was in 4th place, which was not so good.  
There will be 3 competitions held in July and August and I am able to participate to those competitions and I am looking forward to giving you my good fishing result news!!!

THE FIRST GAME OF THE GDCC COMPETITION 2015

The first competition I entered this year was the GDCC competition which was held in Shizuoka prefecture, on Jan 10th and it was a very warm and calm morning.

This GDCC competition has 3 games in a year.and in every game, the participants competes for the total points possessed. The points are divided in 3 categories; the total weight, the quantity and the size of the black sea bream caught. 

In this competition, I came in the second place and the winner went to Mr. Kurokawa, from our fishing club and Mr. Shimazaki, also from our fishing club came in the third place.  Luckily the top three winners was from our fishing club, the Sanyukai!! Those two will be my greatest rivals!

 

This photo is the biggest size of the black sea breams which Mr. Kurokawa and Mr. Shimazaki has caught.

 

Unfortunately, I was not able to catch the black sea bream so big as they have caught and I was very envious....

THE STARTING OF THE YEAR 2015

My first fishing this year, was on Jan 4th and 5th with our chairman, Mr. Aoki. The weather on 4th was cloudy and freezing cold morning, that the boat was also frozen!
This cold day, the fishes were not active and we were able to fish only 3 black sea breams in total.

On the second day, Jan 5th, we had a very warm morning and the sunrise and Mt. Fuji welcomed us.  As shown on this photo, the birds (the bird name unknown) seemed to say "Good morning" to us.

On Jan 5th, with the warm day on our side, we were able to catch 11 black sea breams in total, however, I have forgotten to take the rest of the photos of the fishes other than those two above.  I guess we had a good start of the year 2015.

The first tournament of 2015 will be held this weekend and I will entry for this tournament.. I hope to end up with good result but let's see---------------?

My last fishing in 2014

As my last fishing in 2014, I have spent two days. On the first day, the morning glow have dyed Mt. Fuji beautifully and welcomed me. The only way was to take the photo by a smartphone, and if I had a camera, I could have taken a better shot.

It was a calm bright day, and my fishing point was in between the two world heritages Mr. Fuji and Miho Matsubara. I was very lucky to fish under the fantastic view.

On the first day, I was able to fish small 21 black sea breams!

On the second day, it was a very cold rainy day, but I was able to fish 8 big black sea breams and I was very satisfied with the result and to end my 2014 fishing.

For those who are looking at the Sanyukai blog, and since I have finished my last fishing this year, this will be my last post, but I will be posting at the Google+.

THE FINAL COMPETITION OF 2014

On Dec 13th, the final fishing competition was held by our club!  The weather was fine I was able to see both the beautiful sunrise and Mt.Fuji and I had the feeling that they were cheering our competition! 

The winner of this competition goes by the total amount of weight of the black sea bream.  But during the competition, once in awhile we were able to catch delicious halibut, red sea bream, etc, but they were excluded from the counting.. Therefore, we brought those delicious fishes to the hotel, where the victory celebration was held and the chef specially cooked us and the beautiful dishes were lined up on the table..

On this competition, even though it was sponsored by our club, I became the winner!! I was very happy but what made me more happy was that my student, Mr. Shimizu, the young angler came into 2nd place.  I hope that next year, he will become the winner at all kinds of competition.! Both the award and victory celebration was held at the Bay Hotel Irifunekan and we all had a great time until midnight.

The following day, the 14th, the postponed competition of the Team Seaguar was held . On this competition, our chairman, Mr. Aoki became the winner. I was aiming for the first prize and become a dual winner, unfortunately, I was not able to join this competition  I spent one night at the Bay Hotel Irifunekan and I was very eager with the result of the Team Seaguar competition, however, after the breakfast I had to go back home.  But next year I will enter both competitions and will get the dual victory!!!!

Fishing under the sunshine !

I had two rainy days when I went fishing before, therefore, I was unable to take photos and also I was not able to put in on the blog, but today it was a very fine day and the sunrise and Mt. Fuji was so beautiful.

This day, I fished with Mr. Gomi, one of the three seniors of the club. I have introduced about him on the blog before. but as over 70 years old, he strikes out a top class record and is still an expert angler

As the result both of us fished 21 fishes in total.  In Japan, the cold winter has come, however, all the fishes will be delicious and will be able to fish big black sea breams.  By all means, I am going to enjoy this cold season.

Fishing with the elder member !

Yesterday, I went fishing with elder member, Mr. Taki and as he have requested, we were on different boat.  Anything could happen in the sea, so just in case, I selected the point close to his.

The weather was very stable and calm, and both of us ended up with good catch and good result.

The big tournament will start from next week!  I have to fight hard to get the victory!

I went fishing to Shimizu until yesterday.

Seabirds and the beautiful sunrise greeted me!

Every time I caught the small fishes, I gave them to the seabirds and from then, they waited quietly until the small fishes were caught.

Seabirds cheered me a lot and ended up to be a great fishing day!
There will be a variety of fishing competition starting next month and today's fishing was a good practice for me.

They appeared some time I finished fishing and it seems that they were asking me for the left over baits.

Team Seaguar tournament

Yesterday, Mr. Aoki, our chairman and I participated to the semi-final fishing tournament

sponsored by the line maker, Seaguar. This Seaguar tournament is held 3 times a year and the final tournament will be held in December. This tournament is to challenge for the grand champion of that year.

This time, this tournament was held at Nagai, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Mr. Aoki, our chairman has won the first place and I ended up to the 7th place.  As the result from the total point we gained,  we both were able to move on to the final tournament and both of us will be fighting to get the grand championship in December.
